Gilmanton Fireworks Rescheduled to Saturday July 8th

Gilmanton 4th of July Fireworks

This year, Gilmanton's 4th of July Fireworks will be happening on Saturday, July 8th. As you probably already know, Gilmanton does fireworks in a BIG WAY. It's a great opportunity to hang out with your neighbors, have some good food and drinks, and enjoy a really impressive fireworks show. What you may not know is that this event is also a major GYO fundraiser.

GYO is entirely responsible for set-up, clean-up, and all food and drink preparation and sales during this event. All profits go right back to GYO to help keep our registration fees the lowest around for Gilmanton kids. It's a lot to handle, and need your help to make it work.

We are looking for volunteers to help us out with various positions to make this event a success! We need set-up and clean-up crews, folks to cook burgers and dogs on the grills, food runners and help with food prep, and more. If you've helped us in the past, you know that it's fast-paced and a good, fun time! And, to sweeten the deal a little bit this year, we're offering to the first 10 volunteers a 50% discount voucher for any single GYO registration! These vouchers are transferrable, so you could pass it on to a family in need.

If you've already volunteered in the past for 4th of July Fireworks Concessions, we thank you. It would be really fantastic to see some new folks step forward to contribute to the continued success of GYO!

4th of July Parade

Every year, GYO participates in the 4th of July Parade in the center of town. This year, we'd like to invite as many GYO kids as possible to ride on our float!! Show up at 9:30, July 4th, at the Corners (Academy Building) in your GYO jersey to participate. The parade starts at 10am. Coaches are also welcome!
