Pies and Volunteers needed!

This fun event is a great way to help GYO! The Gilmanton Women's Club, a long time sponsor of GYO, is having their Pies on the Common fundraiser on Saturday, October 7 from 10am to 2pm at the Academy Building (Town Hall). The Women's Club sells donated pies to raise money for local Gilmanton organizations. Incredibly, last year, they sold over 100 pies! Judy Bakos, Women's Club President and event organizer, says they could easily sell double that amount this year, if they have the pies. So, if you would like to donate a home-made pie to this event please contact Judy Bakos.

GYO will also be running a concession stand at this year's Pies on the Common, selling hot dogs, burgers, drinks and snacks. All profits from this concession stand will benefit GYO. To volunteer to help, please contact Bob McKenna or Megan Corum.
