2018-2019 GYO Playground Project

We here at GYO are pleased to announce our newest endeavor: to build a playground at GYO Park! After the tremendous success we had with building and equipping the new batting cage, we realized that as a community, if we work together we can accomplish anything. So, when the Board started thinking about what else we could do to improve the facilities at GYO Park, the overwhelming response was "WE NEED A PLAYGROUND!"

PHASE I: SITE WORK: DONE!
Special thanks to Mickey Daigle of RM Daigle Construction for donating his time and skills for completing all site work for this project. Also, GYO would like to thank Nutter Enterprises for providing all materials at a discounted rate. We'd also like to thank the crew from Pettinelli & Associates, who were able to squeeze us into their busy schedule and get the installation completed quickly. Lastly, thanks to Bobcat of New Hampshire for providing a skid steer so we could spread wood chips and finish the site.

PHASE II: INSTALLATION: DONE!
Two days after Mr. Daigle finished the site work, the playground folks came and installed the whole thing, in one day!

PHASE III: LANDSCAPING AND FINISH WORK
Walkways, steps, shrubs, trees, retaining walls, etc - again, we are looking for local companies who may want to contribute in-kind donations of materials and labor for this final phase of the project. Contact Jay Reed or Shane Bruneau if you'd like to help out.

If you would like to contribute, please send checks to:
